莫言因为得了诺贝尔奖引起不小的网络震荡,就像我之前说的一样,诺贝尔奖就像皮鞭一样抽得莫言不得不拿刘晓波这个敏感词来为自己辩解,赢得世界媒体广泛赞扬,又得到善良的网友送钱,"慈善家"送房,好处着实不少.
恰巧这个时间,莫言风波还没消停,德国给了流亡作家廖亦武颁了个德国书商和平奖,他的那篇文章以前也看过标题,但是标题还没有好到吸引我去看的程度,不过刚刚环球时报又写了篇文章"海外异见者需有走出仇恨的精神力量",这个宣传逼得我去把廖亦武的作品Google出来看一遍,里面除了和环球时报里说的那样6次喊"这个帝国必须分裂"和个人情感有效表达外,内容,观点实在没什么新意.但是当我继续看维基介绍时,发现一个有趣的事情,廖亦武的书一部分被翻译成德文出版的,不由得联想到何清涟说莫言得奖和有人把他的书翻译成瑞典文有关,而这次廖亦武视乎也是这种情况.又想到以前另一个流亡人士在纽约时代广场激情演讲,但是语言却是中文,看的人都是中国人,而内容对中国人来说真的一点都没有新意,想想如果用英文演讲,保证老外都会来采访.所以要让世界认可我们,一定要翻译.(不小心走题了,哈哈)
反过来说,如果廖亦武没得奖,即使他写100篇,10000篇,环球时报都不会搭理他;同样,如果莫言不得奖,不管他写什么,人家也不会去注意他.而这个结论也颠覆了"酒香不怕巷子深"的道理.奖项在一定程度上反映了得奖者实力,但更大是起到了宣传的作用.

Moyan causes a not-small shock in internet.Like I said before,Nobel price is just like a thong,which beat Moyan to have to defend himself with politic sensitive term(Liu xiaobo),that brings him wide commendation from world media, money from netizens and house from "charitarian". THOSE are really lots.
Just this moment,when Moyan wave is still working,Germany awards an exiled writer Liao yiwu a peace price.I saw that article title before. It is not so attractive for me to read it through. But at sight of "Dissident aboard need spiritual strength to get out of hatred " from Global Times,I am forced to Google the Liao 's works to read it.In it,there are only 6 times "The empire must be split" like Global times says and effective expression of personal feelings, but no new content or opinion. But after I read more about Liao in Wiki,I found an interesting thing: some of Liao's works have been translated into German or English. It reminds me what He qinlian said: Translation is a part of reason for Moyan to get Nobel, while it happen on Liao also.It also reminds me the passionate speech at NY Times Square from another dissident. but the language he used is Chinese.The topic is kind of boring for Chinese .Think about it, if he talks in English, there are must interview from America. So translation is a must if we need approvement from the worlds.
Conversely,without Peace price,Global Time will ignore Liao,even if he wrote hundreds or even thousands of articles.Same here,without Nobel,the world willnot pay attention to Moyan,whatever he wrote.This conclusion crashes the "sell themselves" rule down.So the Awards works more as propaganda than the reflection of winner's strength.
